So, the likely story is, you’re coming to the end of your contract or have already finished it and are now looking to save money with a SIM only deal for iPhone. You may also have just bought the iPhone 3G/3GS outright and SIM free being the smart person you are. There are plenty of SIM only plans to choose from and with the iPhone 3G there are not really any restrictions to which one you choose as it takes a normal SIM card. Having more Internet data included will allow you to enjoy many of the data intensive applications that you use. These will include things like Google Maps, Twitter and Facebook. Both Vodafone and O2 offer specialized iPhone SIM only tariffs that include a healthy data package for you. With Vodafone contracts that have over 1200 minutes you will also be entitled to 25MB of European data daily at no extra cost.

Our favourite deal right now is Three Mobile’s The One Plan. It’s a beast of a tariff that is simply made for the iPhone as it promises truly unlimited Internet combined with 2000 minutes and unlimited texts.
Another tariff that stands out for us is the 12 month T-Mobile offer for £20.42 a month. This features a FREE flexible booster which you can change every month depending on what you need. It doesn’t include data as standard so you will have to choose this as your booster if that’s what you want.
